Global K-Culture Workshop

The Department of Global Korean Culture at Chungbuk National University (Korea) is pleased to announce the [Global K-Culture Workshop], designed to enhance the academic capacity of foreign instructors and consultants who teach Korean language and culture abroad and to promote international academic exchange. We warmly invite your participation.

◈ Program Overview

▸ Period: August 25 (Mon) ~ August 29 (Sat), 2025

▸ Venue: Chungbuk National University

▸ Main Activities:

• Special lectures on K-Culture (K-drama, K-pop, K-food, K-webtoon etc.)

• Korean culture experiences and field trips

• Global K-Culture International Conference (attendance or presentation)

▸ Provided Support:

• Full program fee waived (free of charge)

• Accommodation and meals during the program

• One-way transportation to Seoul (on the final day of the program)

◈ Application Guidelines

▸ Eligibility:

Foreign teachers teaching Korean at public or private institutions overseas

or Foreign consultants in charge of Korean study abroad programs

▸ Required Documents:

Application form (available as an attachment or downloadable from the

department’s website)

▸ Application deadline: First-come, first-served basis

- First-round deadline: June 15; Second-round deadline: June 30
▸ Submission: Application & Proof of Employment
