글로벌K컬처학과를 졸업하기 위해서는 교양 및 전공 최저이수학점을 이수하고 졸업시험을 치러야 하며 이에 대한 규정은 아래와 같다.

To graduate from the Department of Global Korean Culture, students must complete the minimum required credits in both liberal art and their major, and pass a graduation exam. The regulations for these requirements are as follows

글로벌K컬처학과의 최저 교양 이수학점은 30학점(10과목)으로 한다.

The minimum “Liberal Art” requirement for the Global K-Culture Department is set at 30 credits (equivalent to 10 courses).

필수: 인문학(문학, 사학, 철학) 관련 과목 9학점 이상 이수

- Mandatory: At least 9 credits in Humanities (Literature, History, Philosophy)

글로벌K컬처학과의 최소 전공 이수학점은 36학점(12과목)으로 한다.

The minimum “Major” requirement for the Global K Culture Department is set at 36 credits (equivalent to 12 courses).

The minimum credits for “Liberal Art” and “Major”

졸업시험: 학생들은 3개의 트랙(한국어, 한국문화, 문화콘텐츠) 중 2개의 트랙을 선택하여 시험을 치르며 각 트랙당 60점 이상, 전체 평균 65점 이상을 받아야 한다. 단, TOPIK 6급 소지자에 한정하여 졸업시험을 면제한다.

Graduation Examination: Students must select two out of the three tracks (Korean Language, Korean Culture, Cultural Content) and take exams, earning at least 60 points in each track and an overall average of 65 points or higher. However, the graduation exam is waived exclusively for holders of a TOPIK Level 6 certificate.

GK학과를 단일 전공으로 선택한 경우 전공필수 24학점(12과목) 및 전공 선택 12학점(4과목)을 포함하여 최소 전공 인정학점 36학점(16과목)을 이수해야 한다.

If a student selects the GK department as their sole major, they must complete a minimum of 36 major credits (equivalent to 16 courses), including 24 credits (12 courses) of required courses and 12 credits (4 courses) of elective courses.

저학년인 1, 2학년에서는 한국어 집중교육과 더불어 문화콘텐츠 입문 과정을 거치고, 고학년인 3, 4학년에서는 한국어교육, 한국문화, 문화콘텐츠 심화 및 전문 과정을 거치게 된다.

-Lower Division (1st and 2nd Year): Intensive Korean language education combined with introductory cultural content courses.

-Upper Division (3rd and 4th Year): Advanced Korean language education, advanced Korean culture studies, and specialized cultural content courses

졸업 후 진로: 졸업생들은 유창한 한국어 실력과 한국문화에 대한 폭넓은 지식을 바탕으로 대학원에 진학하거나 한국 내 기업 또는 해외 한국기업에 진출하고, 외국인을 대상으로 한 한국어교육 전문가로 성장하거나 문화콘텐츠 활용 능력을 통해 미디어콘텐츠 제작 전문가로 활동한다. 또한 한류를 전 세계로 확산하는 문화산업 전문가로 성장하게 된다.

Career Paths After Graduation: Graduates, equipped with fluent Korean language skills and extensive knowledge of Korean culture, may pursue graduate studies or enter the workforce by joining companies in Korea or overseas Korean enterprises. Graduates may evolve into experts in teaching Korean to foreigners or leverage their cultural content skills to become media content production specialists, ultimately emerging as cultural industry professionals.
