글로벌K컬처학과는 CBI 교육방식을 통해 한국어 및 한국문화를 집중교육하고 미디어콘텐츠 제작 시설을 구축하여 문화콘텐츠 전문인력을 양성한다.
The Department of Global Korean Culture provides intensive education in the Korean language and culture through the CBI (Content-Based Instruction) method and establishes media-content production facilities to train professionals in cultural content industry.
CBI (내용중심 언어교육) 교육방식
CBI (Content-Based Instruction) approach
CBI는 언어(한국어)를 그 자체로 배우기보다 흥미롭고 유익한 내용(정보)을 습득하는 수단으로 언어를 교육하는 것으로 내용학습과 언어학습을 병행한다.
CBI (Content-Based Instruction) combines content learning with language acquisition, focusing on teaching the Korean language not as an isolated subject but as a means to engage with and understand meaningful content.
CBI를 통해 학습자의 한국어 집중교육과 더불어 한국사회·문화에 대한 기본지식 및 학업수행 능력을 증대시키는 것을 목표로 한다. GK 전공수업 내용을 토대로 한 학문목적(학업수행 역량 향상) 한국어 교육을 목표로 한다.
The goal is to enhance learners’ academic performance, foundational knowledge of Korean society and culture, and Korean language proficiency through Content-Based Instruction (CBI). It also aims to provide Korean language education for academic purposes (improving academic performance) based on GK major courses.
미디어콘텐츠 교육시설
Media-content Production Facilities
글로벌K컬처학과는 문화콘텐츠 제작실습을 위한 영상촬영 스튜디오, 1인 미디어실, 영상편집실, 음향/음성 녹음실, 통번역실습실 등 다양한 교육시설 및 실습실을 갖추고 있다.
The Department is equipped with various educational facilities for cultural content production training, including a video recording studio, a one-person media room, a video editing room, an audio/voice recording studio, and a translation and interpretation practice room.
